Can I increase/upgrade my pledge?
Yes! You can upgrade your pledge as long as the Kickstarter campaign is active. Once you’ve pledged, hovering over your pledge level will show “Manage Your Pledge.” Clicking that box will open up the pledge section again, where you can choose a different pledge level.

Can I still back if the campaign is already funded?
Yes! As long as the campaign is live (through February 3), you can still pledge (or change your pledge if you’ve backed already. Although the Momentum app Kickstarter has funded, it’s really only reached the minimum threshold we’re hoping for. As more and more backers join us and the campaign’s funding level increases, we’ll be adding new stretch goals that will enhance the rewards backers receive. As a backer, it’s to your advantage to encourage others to support the campaign, because the rewards you receive will continue to increase. It’s a win-win for all of us.

How do stretch goals work?
Stretch goals are additional or enhanced rewards when the campaign reaches a particular milestone. For the Momentum Kickstarter, we have stretch goals planned for certain funding levels (the first at $20k funding), as well as stretch goals for number of backers (the first at 225 backers). As a backer, it’s to your advantage to encourage others to support the campaign, because the rewards you receive will continue to increase. It’s a win-win for all of us.

Yes! At the top of the pledge section on Kickstarter is a place for you to pledge whatever amount you want without receiving a reward.

How do Kickstarter rewards work?
Kickstarter rewards are tied to the pledge levels (in Kickstarter: right-hand side on desktop, separate screen on mobile). When you back the campaign at that monetary level or above, you’re eligible to receive the rewards tied to that pledge level. For the Momentum Kickstarter campaign, we have a number of rewards related to the Momentum app (subscriptions, discounts, and Beta access), as well as a number of other physical and digital rewards. What is Momentum (the app)?
: Momentum is a personal planner app (at launch; we plan to add collaborative/team functionality in the future). It allows you to track your projects, tasks, scheduled events, and deadlines all in one place. The app is browser-based and optimized both for desktop and mobile, so you can access it how and where (and on which device) works best for you. The app is the evolution of our PDF and printed Momentum Planners and the underlying Momentum Planner Method, which has helped thousands of creatives organize and do more of their best work.

YES! Momentum is a web-browser-based application that will work from any web browser, and on any device that has a web browser. It will have two views: one optimized for desktop, one optimized for mobile.

Will it function a bit like Asana, in that we can add next actions into a project?
You’ll definitely be able to add next steps, next project chunks, in either a monthly, weekly, or daily time view (your choice). Just to be clear: The initial launch version is a personal planner only, so you won’t be able to collaborate with others, but we plan to add that function eventually.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
